Yoga Instructors

Andrea Rahkola

Andrea spent many years of her life dancing. She loved the creativity, movement and grace that it brought to her life.

When Andrea started university, she craved those aspects that the art had offered her. That is when she discovered that yoga filled a similar roll in her life, finding a sense of belonging in herself.

Andrea completed her YTT in 2020 and is so grateful for the opportunity to share in the love and passion of yoga together.

Hailey Coons

Hailey discovered Yoga as a powerful tool for healing and empowerment. Since then, Yoga has been transformative in Hailey’s life, helping her find presence, mindfulness, and balance on and off her mat. Hailey invites students to explore their practice with curiosity and playfulness, offering space to grow and shine their light. Her approach is inclusive; grounded in the belief that yoga is for everybody.

Hailey completed her 200hour Yoga teacher training in Tenerife. She’s delighted to be sharing her love of yoga with the Jack & Stella community and looks forward to guiding students toward joy, peace, and inner strength through movement.

Annie Rukavina

Annie has been a yoga teacher for 7 years and was trained right here in Bala, so she has a lot to give back. Her heartstrings are attached.

Annie is a retired elementary school teacher. She enjoys teaching a hatha yoga style with music. She promotes showing up to yoga with inquisitiveness, as yoga offers clarity. It aligns ones actions with intentions and empowers people to move through their day. Yoga reconnects one with their bodies. Whether it is 10 minutes or a full hour, moving breath and body shifts the mind.

It is Annie's intention to breathe together, receive energy from each other and release what no longer serves. In this community we can recharge and step off the mat energized and self aware.

See you on the mat!

Natalie Haney

Natalie grew up as a dancer. Her love of movement followed her to university where she was looking for a new way to nourish her creative spirit. She started taking yoga classes and fell in love with moving her body while also engaging her mind. Yoga has allowed Natalie to create more mindfulness and balance within all aspects of her life.

Natalie invites you to come as you are. Yoga is a self-practice that is shaped by your purpose. She encourages leaning into the discomfort of the unknown, trusting that growth often happens in the moments when we step beyond our comfort zone. In her classes, you’ll find space to explore, reflect, and reconnect with yourself; leaving not only stronger in body, but also more grounded in mind and spirit.

Natalie completed her 200-hour YTT in 2022. She is honoured for the opportunity to connect with the community through mind-body practice.
