Class Descriptions
Hatha Yoga
Rooted in tradition and balance, this Hatha Yoga class honors both meanings of the word Hatha: the umbrella of all physical yoga practices (asana) and the union of opposing energies—ha (sun) and tha (moon).
This well-rounded class emphasizes mindful movement, foundational alignment, and the subtle actions within each pose. As we explore and hold postures, you'll deepen your understanding of the asana, while cultivating strength, flexibility, and presence in both body and mind.
Perfect for all levels; from beginners looking to build a solid foundation, to experienced practitioners wanting to refine and reconnect with the essentials of their practice. Come as you are and leave feeling grounded, balanced, and more in tune with yourself.
Power Yoga
Awaken your body and mind with Power Yoga, a dynamic yoga class designed to kickstart your day with strength, focus, and energy. This class blends the fluidity of sun salutations with balancing postures, strengthening moves, and deep stretches—all guided by your breath.
Power Yoga is catered to all levels and offers a unique opportunity to meet yourself with compassion and curiosity. This practise is a powerful way to check in with your body, set intentions, and cultivate movement rooted in awareness. Challenge isn’t about force; each breath, each pose, is a chance to discover just how capable you are.
Expect to sweat, strengthen, and centre yourself. Whether you're looking to challenge your body, calm your mind, or both, Power Yoga helps you start your day feeling empowered, and ready.
Freedom Flow
Step onto your mat and into the present moment with Freedom Flow—a morning practice designed to gently awaken your body, calm your mind, and set a grounded, intentional tone for the day ahead.
Open to all levels, this class begins with soft, mindful movement to relax the nervous system, centre the breath, and ease into the body. As the practice deepens, we transition into longer-held yin postures that stretch the connective tissues, increase flexibility, and release areas where tension and stress often reside.
This practise offers an opportunity to tune in, and meet yourself exactly as you are—stiffness, sensations, stillness, and all. With mindful movement, you'll build inner strength and move into your day with clarity and ease.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled class. All classes will take place in the Sunroom, upstairs in Jack & Stella.
